The event location
The 8th stage on the ASP World Tour takes place on the famous beach breaks of Hossegor in South-West France.
Depending on the conditions and sand banks, the event could end up at Seignosse, Hossegor, Capbreton or St Jean De Luz, and either one is gonna be a treat.
The Worlds best professional surfers will be throwing down all they've got on France's punchy waves.
Past winners include Kelly Slater (2012) and Mick Fanning, who's scooped victory on the French sand three times (2010, 2009 and 2007).
Ah he did it again - Mick Fanning won a very close final against the Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina! Congratulations on winning the QuikPro France 2013.
