Pacific Coast Touring Route- Queensland

Brisbane - Fraser Island - Bundaberg - Rockhampton - Mackay - Townsville - Cairns - Port Douglas (from 6 days)

Check out some of the biggest attractions along Queensland’s 1,900 km of coastline. This route takes in the Great Barrier Reef, a World Heritage site and the pristine rainforest in a national park located on an island.

Explore Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world and find manta rays and turtles at Mon Repos, near Bundaberg.

Equip yourself with a mask to snorkel or dive amongst the reefs and wrecks near Mackay. Hop onboard a yacht in the Whitsundays, an idyllic group of islands which includes the stunning Whitehaven Beach.

Walk the white sands of Magnetic Island, near Townsville and further north, visit Hinchinbrook, Australia's island national park.

The bright colors, sounds and smells of this beautiful coast are sure to remain with you long after your trip into Cairns, gateway to Tropical North Queensland.
